ME

A MEMBER TODAY

Thanks for your interest in joining me and my yoga pals on this membership journey.

The Allison Hendrix Yoga Membership Site is structured to get you the most of what you need: varying styles and lengths of yoga practices, mini workouts, meditations, music, community. Only a month old, the content and opportunities for engagement will be ever-evolving, but here's what we've got going on so far.

There are several ways to join us.

There is and will always be FREE YOGA here. It is one of my core values that everyone should have access to these profound practices. To wellness. To mind-body guidance. My hope in the future is to partner with organizations that work to bring that access into real life spaces, but in the 2020 Covid-19 era, for now this will all be virtual. If you have more resources and are seeking more content, there are also monthly subscriptions options for a larger library of practices.

I know you have a lot of options for online yoga. SOOO MANY. What I see as the value in this community is that it is new, developing, smaller, and therefore gives you more direct access and influence on the content you see. Have a pose you'd love to learn about? Want to request a certain style of event or practice? Always wondered what some certain sanskrit words mean? You have the chance here to ask and learn, and be a part of developing this community. You can email me, message me, post on the community board - there are so many ways to engage and guide this process.

It's my favorite. Sharing this practice with you. And if we have not yet met, I'm sure once we do, you'll be my favorite, too.

I hope you'll come along with me.

WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME (ALLISON) AND MY EXPERIENCE/TRAINING?

Read a little bio: Allison is a yoga instructor, pianist, and theatre-maker. She has been practicing yoga for over twenty years and teaching since 2012. She completed Yogaview’s 200-hr teacher training and is currently working toward her 500-hr certification with Jason Crandell. She has invested the last decade in continuing education workshops from master teachers such as Maty Ezraty, Noah Maze, Tim Feldmann, Tim Miller, and more.

She currently teaches public classes in the Chicagoland area with Chicago Athletic Clubs and Namaskar Yoga, as well as various private, small group, and pop-up events throughout the city. She taught outdoor classes at Gallagher Way and Wrigley Field during Summer 2018, rooftop classes at The Robey during Summer 2019, and has partnered with the Chicago Bulls and RUSH to lead classes at The United Center.

Allison pulls from experience in many different styles of yoga to create an alignment-based vinyasa flow with a playful and adventurous energy. With a background in music and dance, she enjoys creating classes with curated music to inspire breath and fluidity of movement. Above all, she believes that yoga is a personal and profound experience, and encourages students to let their intuition be their guide throughout every class.
